Animal Experiences
Guided small group experiences, suitable for all ages.

Come and meet our friendly animals, discover our rare breeds and enjoy time on our family farm. Our Animal Experience is a relaxed guided farm experience for all ages, giving visitors the chance to meet selected animals, ask questions, enjoy hands-on interaction where appropriate and spend time in the countryside at a gentle pace.
Every visit may vary slightly depending on the season and what is happening on the farm, which helps keep the experience genuine and personal.

Visitors should be reminded that Sweetlands is a working farm. Anyone with allergies to animals, hay, straw or dust should consider this before booking. Please make us aware of any relevant medical information, allergies and additional needs.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at Sweetlands Farm. Although we love dogs ourselves, we have livestock, free-range animals and working yard dogs, so for the safety and welfare of all our animals we ask visitors to leave dogs at home. Assistance dogs may be discussed by prior arrangement.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the experience.
Young people aged 12 and over may attend independently if a parent or guardian remains on site.
All visitors taking part in the experience require a booked ticket, except children under 2 who attend free.
