Welcome to Sweetlands Farm. We want everyone who comes through our gates - riders, learners, families and schools - to feel safe, supported and well looked after. These terms exist to make sure every visit runs smoothly and that expectations are clear from the start.

• Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. 

• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. 

• Suitable clothing and appropriate footwear must be worn for all activities. 

• Riding hats meeting current safety standards must be worn for ridden activities. 

• Children must remain supervised by a parent/carer unless attending a supervised organised session. 

• Participants are expected to follow staff instructions at all times for safety and animal welfare reasons. 

• Animals must be treated calmly and respectfully at all times. 

• Feeding animals is only permitted when instructed by staff. 

• Hands must be washed or sanitised after animal contact. 

• Relevant medical conditions, allergies, behavioural or additional support needs should be disclosed prior to sessions where appropriate. 

• Sessions may occasionally need to be altered or cancelled due to weather, safety or animal welfare considerations. 

• Sweetlands Farm reserves the right to stop or refuse participation if behaviour is unsafe or causes distress to animals. 

• Participation in activities is at the visitor’s own risk.
