Sweetlands Community Fund

Help give a child an experience to treasure.

For many, it means confidence, calm and a sense of safety they don't always get elsewhere. The Sweetlands Community Fund exists so every local child has the chance to feel that, whatever their circumstances.

Sweetlands is a working family farm, not a charity. The Community Fund is a dedicated fund that helps provide opportunities for local children who may otherwise be unable to access our Animal Learning and Animal Experience sessions.

Contributions are pooled within the fund and used flexibly, wherever they can make the greatest difference. Rather than paying for one fixed type of visit, the fund supports a range of experiences: an Animal Learning session, a ride on a pony, an Animal Experience, a small group visit or, where appropriate, a more personalised one-to-one session, based on what each child needs. Contributions also help towards the year-round care and welfare of the animals that make these experiences possible.

How it works...

Businesses and individuals contribute to the Sweetlands Community Fund.
We work with trusted local charity partners.
When funding is available, our charity partners identify the children who would benefit most.
Those children enjoy a fully funded visit to Sweetlands.
